115 youth volleyball teams participate in Rajun Cajun Classic 115 youth volleyball teams compete in Rajun Cajun Classic and last updated 2021-03-06 23:32:31-05 Teams are participating in the Rajun Cajun Classic tournament across six Lafayette recreation centers: Comeaux, Domingue, Dupuis, Girard Park, Martin Luther King, and Robicheaux Recreation centers. Games are being held Saturday until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Typically hosted by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette at the Earl K. Long Gym and Bourgeois Hall, this year s tournament saw a change in venue due to COVID-19 restrictions. But officials don t anticipate the change of venue will have negative impacts.

Youth Volleyball Tournament to bring 115 teams to Lafayette March 6 and March 7, 2021 Lafayette Parks and Rec / LCG and last updated 2021-03-04 15:46:46-05 115 youth volleyball teams from across the country will arrive in Lafayette this weekend to compete in the Rajun Cajun Classic. The Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the tournament which will take place on Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7 at six Lafayette recreation centers. âAttracting events like this tournament not only draws in tourism dollars, especially at a time when our businesses have been affected by the pandemic, but also shows our City and Parish appeal to people around the country, said Mayor-President Josh Guillory.

LDH to administer Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccines at Robicheaux Center Friday, March 5, by appointment only LCG and last updated 2021-03-02 14:22:38-05 The Region 4 Office of Public Health will administer single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines by appointment only on Friday March 5th at the Robicheaux Recreation Center. The vaccinations will take place from 8 am until 4 pm on Eraste Landry Road. Those interested in scheduling an appointment must meet the current eligibility requirements. Appointments can be made by calling 337-262-5311. Requirements to receive a COVID-19 vaccine include the following: Persons 65 years of age or older Dialysis patients Cancer Obesity
