Simons, who served in the U.S.Army for six years during the Vietnam War presented the two flags on behalf of the veterans at the home. There are currently 12 to 15 veterans at Roseview. July 2 Montgomery Police Officer Eric Winters is ousted by a 5-0 vote of Montgomery Borough Council. Winters was promoted to corporal and helped lead a police regionalization effort with several nearby municipalities, but talks were stalled when several municipal partners exited.
