Ram Karthik's Telisinavaallu is a thriller

A non-typical role for Hebah Patel

Updated Mar 13, 2021, 11:13 pm IST Director Viplove Koneti talks about Hebah Patel s role in his upcoming film, Telisinavallu  Hebah Patel Telisinavallu, starring Ram Karthik and Hebah Patel is a blend of elements, and Viplove Koneti, the director, says he doesn’t wish to classify it under any particular genre. “The plot revolves around a girl wanting to end her life for a reason,” explains the director. The film starts off as a romantic drama. “But as it progresses, comedy, a murder-mystery and supernatural elements take over,” he says.   Apparently, Hebah, who has so far been seen as glamorous, will appear in a de-glam role. “One of the reasons I cast her was because I wanted an actress who doesn’t have any ‘image’. Also, I was looking for an actress who hasn’t done any thriller-genre films,” he explains, adding that he believes Hebah is a performer.

Going by the poster, Hebah will be seen essaying the character named Chaitra in the film. It s not for nothing that the makers are promising more than just entertainment. It seems there will be an internal message in the movie. Does the poster indicate Hebah Patel plays a ghost? Starring Ram Karthik in the lead role, Telisinavaalu is written and directed by Viplove Koneti and produced by Syringe Cinema. The supporting cast includes Ram Karthik, Pavithra Lokesh, Naresh, and others. The technical crew of Telisinavaalu include Deepak Venugapalan for music, Ajay Nag V for cinematography and Dharmendra Kakarala for editing. The film started making buzz even before its shooting began as the makers have come up with a new concept.
