ELKINS The Snowshoe Foundation donated approximately $2,500 worth of toys to the Randolph County Family Resource Network this week.
The items were delivered to the Phil Gainer Community Center Tuesday afternoon. The donation was part of the organization’s annual Holiday Toy Drive, which honors the life of former foundation member David Dekema, who was marketing director of the organization at the time of his passing in 2017.

ELKINS –With Christmas Day now just two weeks away, Toys for Tots is hoping to get a final push for donations so that no local children have to go without gifts on the cherished holiday.
The foundation is part of the United States Marine Corps and is receiving assistance this year from the Phil Gainer Community Center and its manager, Chris Lee, who has gone above and beyond this holiday season as the lead liaison of the project.
