REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – The Blood Bank of Delmarva and the City of Rehoboth Beach have teamed up to host a blood drive to keep the local blood supply stable during the pandemic.
With blood drives on hiatus due to the pandemic, community blood drives such as Rehoboth Beach have become all the more critical.
Those interested in donating are asked to book an appointment for this blood drive, which is scheduled for Monday, January 25th, from noon until 6 p.m., in the Main Hall of the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.
Individuals are eligible to donate if they are at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and are generally feeling healthy and well with no fever. Temperatures will be checked at the door, and individuals are reminded to eat and hydrate before donating.
