Monday July 12, 2021, the Curry County Sheriff’s Office received information through the Brookings Police Department 911 center that a woman that had fallen off a cliff near Natural Bridges about twelve miles north of Brookings. Brookings’s dispatch advised they paged out Brookings and Cape Ferello Fire Departments along with Cal Ore Life Flight Ambulance. Curry County Sheriff’s dispatch then requested the Curry County Sheriff’s Office SAR rope team to respond along with the on-duty deputies.
