Election Day turnout low, time remains to vote in runoff elections

There is still time to vote on Election Day in the Gateway City as the runoff elections are decided Saturday, Dec. 12.
According to the Webb County Elections Administration and the candidates who are out trying to drum up support for the race, things have been extremely slow with less than 10,000 people expected to have voted during this runoff election. People still have time to hit the polls to decide the races for City Council Districts V, VII and VIII and for the Laredo College Board of Trustees Place 7 as voting ends at 7 p.m.
