THREE ambitious students at Swindon Academy have been awarded full scholarships are are set to take up places at Marlborough College’s Sixth Form. All three year 11 pupils have been part of the Academy’s Grammar Stream which is run in partnership with Marlborough College. To secure the scholarships, they underwent an application process including a day of assessments and interviews at the College. The students will take up their places in September. Ruth Robinson, principal of Swindon Academy, said: “I am so pleased that three of our students have secured places at Marlborough College. They are conscientious, hard working and enthusiastic students and I have every confidence they will take full advantage of every opportunity Marlborough has to offer them. I wish them all the very best as they embark on this very exciting chapter in their lives.”
