Ask a Librarian

How can we help?  Not sure where to start your research? Stuck somewhere along the way? Ask a Librarian. Our librarians are here to provide suggestions, research tips, resources and strategies to all Australians, as well as anyone looking for information relating to Australia or the Library s collections. If we can t help we will recommend someone who can.  To help us find the most relevant answer to your enquiry, please provide as much accurate and concise information as possible. To ensure we can assist everyone asking for our help, we may limit the number of responses we provide to repeat enquiries. We are not able to give advice on legal, financial or health matters and we can t provide answers to assignments and quizzes.

This is an integral part of ensuring that the whole community can access the Library – a significant national cultural institution - and that the Library is recognised as an employer of choice.
