One of the saddest things to have happened last year in the entertainment industry was the loss of some of the most prominent and talented personalities of Bollywood. But it was Sushant Singh Rajput s death that shocked us the most. The actor died by suicide at his Bandra home. After his death, and based on the complaint filed his father, Rhea Chakraborty became the prime accused in the case. She was being interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB). But it was the NCB only that took her to custody on the charges of possessing and passing drugs to Sushant. Her brother Showik was also arrested. They were acquitted of the charges by the Bombay High Court. But even after that, Rhea and Showik has often been spotted at the NCB office.

NEW DELHI/MUMBAI: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has moved the Supreme Court challenging the Bombay High Court order granting bail to actress Rhea Chakraborty, who was arrested over drugs-related charges. The drugs angle had come out after Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput s suspicious death in his flat in Mumbai on June 14 last year.
As per reports, a bench comprising Chief Justice SA Bobde, Justices AS Bopanna and V Ramasubramanian will hear the plea which was posted for hearing on March 18.
A case was registered by the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB Rhea, her brother and the other accused by the NCB on the allegation that she had facilitated the procurement of drugs for the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Reacting to charges framed against Rhea Chakraborty in the Sushant Singh Rajput drugs case, her lawyer Satish Manshinde alleged that all efforts of the NCB have been directed towards her to somehow rope her in.

Sushant Singh Rajput Case: High Court Asks Media To Exercise Restraint, Says Trail Hinders Administration Of Justice

The Bombay High Court on Monday asked media houses to exercise restraint when reporting on suicide cases, saying media trial leads to interference and obstruction to administration of justice and amounts to contempt of court.
A bench of Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice G S Kulkarni said the press must avoid discussions and debates relating to criminal investigations, and it should confine only to informative reportage that is in public interest. The bench also held that prima facie some reportage by Republic TV and Times Now in the aftermath of the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput were contemptuous .
