Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is the latest celebrity in India to test positive for COVID-19.
The ‘Queen’ star confirmed the news on Instagram, adding that she is currently under quarantine and will “demolish it”.
“I was feeling tired and weak with slight burning sensation in my eyes for past few days, was hoping to go to Himachal so got my test done yesterday and today the result came I am covid positive,” Ranaut wrote in her post.
“I have quarantined myself, I had no idea this virus is having a party in my body, now that I know I will demolish it, people please don’t give anything any power over you, if you are scared it will scare you more, come let’s destroy this Covid -19 it is nothing but a small time flu which got too much press and now psyching few people,” she added.

Rimzim Dadu via an Instagram story too announced the end of their association with the actress.
While the move garnered many positive reactions online, Kangana s sister Rangoli jumped to her defense and said that they would be suing Anand Bhushan for attempting to get mileage from the actress account ban.

This week, Kangana Ranaut joined the likes of former US President Donald Trump in having her account permanently suspended by Twitter. It was a move that many saw coming, given the actress’ relentless jibes at the social media platform and taunts directed at its CEO, Jack Dorsey. Having officially joined Twitter last year in August after seeing “the entire world [come] together to fight for Sushant Singh Rajput” and to “bring the reforms we want for a new India”, the actress was quickly at ease and much like Trump. She used her account to share provocative views and conspiracies regarding the actor’s death, to attack her rivals, from Deepika Padukone to Taapsee Pannu, and to rally her base which was tied to that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut s handle @KanganaTeam has been suspended permanently on Twitter. The micro-blogging site said that it is done because the actress violated the rules of the social media platform. Soon after this, designer Anand Bhushan announced that he is cutting all ties with the actress and deleting the pictures shared with her. Now, Kangana s sister Rangoli has reacted to the same and said that she will sue the designer. Taking to Instagram, Rangoli said see you in the court.
