Police officer fights stage 4 cancer

Police officer fights stage 4 cancer Burt Mummolo, KTUL Staff UP NEXT We first met Officer Rebecca Hendrix six years ago on the quirky case of the mysterious skeleton found in an old barn. It was in a wooden casket, had the old cast iron handles on it, I mean I ve dated it back to the early 1900 s, late 1800 s on the casket itself, she said. Of all the times I’ve been on the news that was probably my favorite, she laughed. Law & Order: Organized Crime recap: Season 1 finale, Forget It, Jake; It s Chinatown

Photo: Eric Liebovitz/NBC Before it had even premiered, Law & Order: Organized Crime promised a new take on the police procedural. Instead of cases of the week, there would be one season-long investigation. The show, from Dick Wolf, Ilene Chaiken, and Matt Olmstead, wouldn’t simply lionize the NYPD, as so many cop shows (including much of Wolf’s oeuvre) have for much of the last four decades. More specifically, Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), a walking, talking civil rights violation, would realize that his way of doing things would no longer be tolerated. This time, there would be checks and balances instead of just an exasperated speech by Captain Donald Cragen (Dann Florek) or solemn head shake from Detective (now Captain) Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay).
