She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan Campbell Landfield; and husband of 64 years, Roy.
She leaves behind a daughter, Dr. Judy Campbell-Karpis (Alexander); four grandchildren, Rebecca Koch, (m. Rudy), Dr. Ryan Landfield (m. Dr. Susan Hogle), Capt. John Karpis, U.S. Air Force (m. Maj. Natalie Cepak, USAF), and Alexander M. Karpis. She had eight wonderful great-grandchildren, Grace, Claudia, William, Henry, Maeryn, Benedict, Freya and Jefferson.
Born and raised in rural Sevier County, Dot lived for 50 years in Miami Springs, Florida, before moving back to the family homestead in Sevierville permanently in 2013.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Dot was a stay-at-home mother until her daughters were teenagers. She worked for many years as a clerk in the Credit Department at J.C. Pennyâs, and as pastorâs secretary and bookkeeper at First Baptist Church of Hialeah until her retirement. She was a fervent member of the laity at First Baptist
