The Anderson County School District Two Board of Trustees has selected Jason Johns to be the district s new superintendent.
The board voted unanimously for Johns during their board meeting on Monday, April 19. Johns will be working with interim superintendent Don Andrews for a few weeks before officially starting his new position on July 1.
“The board is confident that Mr. Johns will serve Anderson Two well, Chair Member Jimmy Ouzts said in a social media post. We are excited to move forward to do what is best for the education of our students.”
“I am so excited to join the Anderson Two family, Johns said in a social media post. It is a district rich in fine arts, academic and athletic achievements. I consider myself very fortunate to join the tradition of this fine school district.”
