Acting group excited for return to stage with double bill of shows

A THEATRE group says it is excited to be back as it returns to the stage. Sudbury Dramatic Society plans to be back in action at the Quay Theatre this July following the easing of lockdown rules. The group is performing a double bill of two contrasting one-act plays. The plays have been rehearsed online and at socially-distanced rehearsals and will be on at the theatre from July 7-10 at 7.30pm. The first is Can’t Stand Up for Falling Down by Richard Cameron, directed by Helen Arbon. The play is a story of three women whose lives are linked by their different relationships with the same abusive man.
