Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has solicited the support of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) for development at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo (UNIMED) and the Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa (OAUSTECH).
Akeredolu after a closed-door meeting with the Executive Secretary of TET-Fund Prof. Suleiman Elias Bogoro said TETFund’s impact has already been felt at the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), and Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olabode Olatunde said the governor noted that his visit was to seek the support of TET-Fund for the two other institutions in the state so as to ensure that development is spread across the four government-owned institutions.

The Ondo State Governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, has approved the appointment of 19 Permanent Secretaries, three Tutors-General and the state Statistician-General.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr Richard Olabode Olatunde, who said the appointment was part of the move to encourage hard work and reward dedication in the state civil service.
Olatunde listed the new Permanent Secretaries to include, E.T Ogunmola, Ekpobomini B. Jide, A. Akinnagbe, J.M Dele-Adesanmi, R.O Dare- Atunse (Mrs), A.J Adeyemo, O.A Akinseloyin, and O.J Afolabi.

Akeredolu forwards list of four commissioner nominees to House of Assembly

The Ondo State House of Assembly has received the names of four Commissioner nominees forwarded to it by the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.
Chairman House Committee on Information, Youth and Sports Development. Hon Gbenga Omole confirmed this in Akure, the state capital.
The nominees are: Mr Ojogo Kimikanboh Donald, Mr Wale Akinterinwa, Sir Charles Titiloye and Engr Aminu Raimi Olayiwola.
Governor Akeredolu in a letter addressed to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Oleyelogun Bamidele David and signed by the Chief of staff to the Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale requested members to give their approval to the list in view of the urgent need to fast-track the instrumentality of governance.
