The Regina area is once again open for business.
On March 23, the Saskatchewan government put in place stricter public health measures for the Regina region due to an increased threat of COVID-19 transmission.
One of those measures was an advisory against travelling to Regina, Belle Plaine, Pense, Grand Coulee, Lumsden Beach, Regina Beach, Craven, Lumsden, Edenwold, Pilot Butte, White City, Balgonie, Kronau, Davin, Gray, Riceton, the RM of Lajord, the RM of Edenwold, the RM of Sherwood, the RM of Pense and the RM of Lumsden.
On Monday, the government said it was lifting that advisory.
Also Monday, all Regina restaurants and licensed establishments were allowed to reopen for in-person dining provided certain conditions were met. Those included limiting patrons to a maximum of four per table, requiring two to three metres of separation between tables, and keeping detailed information on all patrons for contact tracing purposes.
