Updating and Ranking The 50 Greatest NFL Players of all time

Now that we’re a few years removed from the NFL’s 100th Anniversary, it’s time to update our rankings of the 50 Greatest NFL Players of all time. The list needs some slight updating and ordering, as (spoiler alert) a new GOAT has been crowned.
This is the definitive ranking of the 50 Greatest NFL Players of All Time.
50. Terrell Owens
Notable accolades: Hall of Fame (2018); 5x First-Team All-Pro; 6x Pro Bowl
Hot takes only on this list. Despite the heavy controversy surrounding his career, Terrell Owens was the greatest wide receiver of his day outside of Randy Moss. He was unfortunately stuck on some heartbreakingly good teams: his Niners were on the verge of glory before they ran into a historical anomaly in the early 2000’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and later was a part of the Eagles team that fell victim to Tom Brady. Despite that, his NFL stats and influence are both undeniable.

The NFL s D-line pass rusher GOAT had quality sidekicks, particularly during his Eagles days. A ninth-round pick, Simmons beat the odds to become a longtime sack artist; his 121.5 are 21st all time. White s most common Philly D-end counterpart was a two-time All-Pro, leading the NFL with 19.5 sacks in 1992. Simmons, White, and Brown a Hall of Fame-caliber talent at D-tackle all made the 1991 All-Pro team. Brown s tragic 1992 death hit the Eagles hard, but White and Simmons were teammates for seven years. White during that time: six All-Pros, 21 sacks in a 12-game season. The power rusher s Philly years are some of the best by a defender ever.

Czabe and KB talk about the biggest Super Bowl disasters that occurred both on and off the field as we get closer to this Sunday’s big game between Tampa Bay and Kansas City. Some of the events on Czabe’s list included Tom Brady’s jersey getting stolen, the lights going out at the Superdome and Ray Lewis’ alleged stabbing at the Cobalt Lounge in Atlanta in 2000. KB was quick to bring out Eugene Robinson’s arrest just days after winning the NFLs Man of the Year. Who knows what’s ahead of us this Sunday? Hopefully just an entertaining game!
