From the moment Urban Meyer was hired as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, he has preached the importance of the defensive line.
“I always believe you build your team around the defensive line and you move backwards, so that’s what we’re going to do. Our defensive line, we feel good about it, a few of our players are pretty good,” Meyer proclaimed, back on March 9.
The new head coach wasn’t just offering lip service either when it came to that particular unit. The Jaguars held over their entire starting front seven from last season. Broncoman 2021 Mock Draft 19.0 - No DeShaun, No Problem By Broncoman on Feb 19, 2021, 5:17pm MST +
I know the chatter is heating up regarding the Broncos potentially landing DeShaun Watson, and for the right price I think it s a great idea, however, I seriously doubt that the Texans will take anything less than a Hershel Walker sized trade and frankly I don t think the Broncos are willing to literally bet the future of the franchise for the next five years on one player. So I figured I would again go with what I think may happen. First off lets assume we are able to sign Von to a team friendly deal and that his legal issues are hopefully not serious.
