Hoff the Record) is as cold as they come. Deals are done, empires rise and fall and any respect in the workplace is discarded in the pursuit of profits -but that’s the point.
In the middle of it all is Harper Stern (Myha’la Herrold) one of the ambitious young graduates ready to take on the world at Pierpoint. Nobody knows she has lied her way into a London trading desk from New York, but she is both skilled and savage working alongside her mentor boss Eric (Ken Leung).

Industry on BBC and HBO is the series we never knew we needed until we were deep into the final episode wondering why we were rooting for the characters to not mess up their final presentation at the big investment bank they d been interning at for the last year.

But judgement day has arrived, and the would-be Nick Leesons now have to give a speech to their seniors about why they should be hired - which, excruciatingly, is broadcast on TVs all around the trading floor.
HBO has renewed its new London-set drama series
Industry for a second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. All of the episodes for Season 1 are available to stream now on HBO Max, with episodes also releasing weekly on the HBO channel until the season finale on December 21.
“Mickey and Konrad have captured an authentic, fresh angle on workplace culture from the bottom up and presented a complex look at navigating life in your early twenties – replete with thrills, failures, and victories,” said HBO Programming executive vp Francesca Orsi. “It’s exciting to see fans embrace these young graduates, and we join them in anticipation of what’s in store for season two.
