Stony Brook University announced that it will require all students planning to live on campus to be fully vaccinated unless they receive medical or religious exemptions from the school.
NEW YORK - The court battles are just getting started over vaccine mandates. And while different judges may very well judge the issue differently, the first decision out of the gate put universities public health interests over students rights to refuse a requirement they consider unnecessary for their return to campus.
On Sunday, a federal court in Indiana declined to block Indiana University s requirement that all students this fall be fully vaccinated upon returning to campus.

An 83-year-old pilot walked away from the crash of his experimental aircraft Tuesday at Morristown Municipal Airport, FAA and local authorities said.
Morristown police and Airport Rescue fire units responded to a report of a crash at 9 a.m. on Runway 5-23 and located the pilot, a Springfield man who was operating an experimental single-engine Taylor Coot amphibious two-seat aircraft.
The pilot told responders that as he approached his landing, the indicators inside the aircraft showed that his landing gear was down and locked. But as he touched down on the runway, the right landing gear seemingly either failed or had not locked down.

New Jersey residents between the ages of 12 and 15 became eligible for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on Wednesday. Over 170 CVS pharmacies in New Jersey began offering appointments and walk-ins for COVID vaccines for these age groups on Thursday. Walgreen pharmacies are also offering vaccinations for that age group.
