North Bergen will soon begin its property tax revaluation, which has been in the early phases for months. Due to a directive from the state and the Hudson County Board of Taxation, the township is undergoing a mandatory property tax revaluation to accurately assess the value of all properties.
Representatives from Appraisal Systems Inc. (ASI) will hold a series of Zoom webinars where residents can watch a presentation about the process and ask questions.

North Bergen will soon begin its property tax revaluation, which has been in the early phases for months. Due to a directive from the state of New Jersey and the Hudson County Board of Taxation, the township will soon begin a mandatory property tax revaluation process to accurately assess the value of all properties.
In November, the Board of Commissioners voted to adopt an ordinance that began a tax revaluation of all properties. It authorized a special emergency appropriation of $900,000 for the preparation and execution of the revaluation.
