The number of COVID-19 jabs administered globally surpassed the one billion mark on Saturday, offering hope even as the number of virus cases worldwide hit a new daily record mainly due to an explosion of infections in India.

Fans of French literature can rejoice the Association Canadienne-française de l’Ontario of SDG (ACFO-SDG), with the help of a handful of partners, is set to unveil four webinars featuring the work of four local authors whose work was published following a 2019 literary contest.
“Each year, l’ACFO SDG offers cultural programming to the Cornwall and SDG community,” said ACFO SDG president Dianne Poirier. “During the pandemic, our organization decided to invite local organization to present a series of issues through webinars.”
