PMPML fund helps buoy deceased staffers’ kin

Families of employees of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) have started reaping the benefits of a fund
Adaranjali Yojana that they floated in January this year, with each of them contributing Rs 50 from their monthly salary. The scheme is tailored to bail out families of employees who die. The scheme collected a fund of Rs 15.59 lakh in its first year and was able to offer about Rs.3.90 lakh to each family of the four employees who died this year.
