Hyderabad: TRS MLC K. Kavitha planted saplings at Pragathi Bhavan along with her mother Shobha and party MP J. Santosh Kumar to mark her birthday on Saturday even as party activists celebrated the occasion in all districts and abroad.
Party leaders organised cricket, volleyball and other sports competitions in the districts and handed out prizes to the winners.

Giles, aged 46, of Lyttleton Avenue, admitted driving a Land Rover on Hurst Green Road with 212 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood,. The limit is 80. A community order was made, including 120 hours unpaid work.
A Stourbridge man has been hit with a ‘bill’ of £7,481 after he admitted allowing premises to be used which were shut for safety reasons. Dharminder Singh Dale, of Platts Crescent, had knowingly allowed a building in Walsall to be used when it had been prohibited under the Housing Act because of an electrical hazard.
