Mumbai: Whistling Woods International (WWI), Asia’s premier Film, Communication, and Creative Arts institute, has announced the dates for the third round of entrance examinations for its August 2021 intake.
WWI is accepting applications from film and media aspirants for its full-time degree, post-graduate and diploma courses for Filmmaking, Acting, Animation & Game Design, Media & Communication, Fashion Design, Music, Visual Communication Design and Event Management. The last date to register for the entrance exam is May 24, 2021. Following the registration, entrance exams are scheduled to take place on May 26-29, 2021.

GUWAHATI: A webinar on the theme Women in leadership-environment and ecology was held for Post Graduate students of Gauhati University and NSS volunteers of affiliated colleges on March 3.
The webinar was held in view of the International Women s Day 2021 which will be celebrated on March 8. It was organised by Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Regional Centre, Chandigarh in collaboration with Gauhati University NSS Cell.
Dr K Gireesan, Associate Professor & OSD, RGNIYD Regional Centre, Chandigarh gave the welcome address and introductory remarks of the webinar. The objective of the programme was to discuss role of women in leadership, environment and ecology. Dr Gireesan hailed the role played by modern women who have entered many male bastion like armed forces, politics etc.

Colombo, February 19 (newsin.asia): A three-day international conference on Buddhist Philosophy and its Role in Inculcating Values among Youth concluded on February 19.Held in the virtual mode, the conference had participants from 29 countries including Sri Lanka.
It was organized in the virtual mode by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development. It was inaugurated by the Indian Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports, Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju.
The objectives of the conference were to disseminate the core values of Buddhist philosophy, its culture and its relevance for instilling in the youth ethical and moral values.
