Use technology-based tools to identify people misusing social media: J&K DGP to officials
SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh on Monday directed officials to use technology-based tools to identify and bring to book people using social media for anti-national and anti-social activities.
The director general of police (DGP), while chairing a high-level security review meeting at the police headquarters here, also asked them to put in place effective measures for maintaining peace and order in the union territory.
Stressing on the need of using technology and related tools to keep a check on people misusing social media, Singh said that “a mechanism must be put in place to identify and bring to book all the mischief mongers, who are found using social media for anti-national and anti-social activities”.

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 19 (ANI): Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh on Wednesday dedicated Operations Command Vehicles, which will be extremely useful during different anti-terror operations, to the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
During a function held at Police Headquarters Jammu, the DGP on the occasion inspected the Command Vehicles and appreciated the suggestions made by officers for further upgrading of these vehicles.
Command vehicles are equipped with all modern gadgets which will be extremely useful during different anti-terror operations, the DGP said, adding that the safety of our officers and Jawans is on our top priority and providing additional secure mobility and safety gears would surely increase the efficiency and capabilities of our dedicated force, working on the anti-terror front.

JAMMU, May 13: Member of Parliament BJP Lok Sabha Jammu -Poonch, Jugal Kishore Sharma along with former Minister and MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma and District Development Commissioner, Jammu Anshul Garg with administrative staff visited 500 Bedded COVID-19 Hospital at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu.
Jugal Kishore Sharma inspected the construction work of 500 bedded hospital constructed by Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu. He also took stock of other arrangements and provision like electricity, water, connectivity and other facilities. He, while speaking at the occasion said that this 500 bedded hospital constructed by DRDO will provide a great help in alarming situations aroused in COVID-19.
