Tired of the lackadaisical attitude of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) in repairing the
pothole-ridden roads despite several requests, the city traffic police took the task into their hands so that citizens don’t suffer accidents due to bad roads. They are filling the potholes with whatever little material is available to them, be it the nearby stones or mud.
Citizens have also repeatedly complained about bad roads, but the civic body has turned deaf ears to their plaints. Every day, traffic cops receive hundreds of complaints from commuters to fix the roads.
