The docuseries is nothing short of informative and I even enjoyed watching the stories unfold of powerful music executives and their respective journeys to the top of the ladder. Hip-Hop Uncovered features Deb Antney, mother to Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame, who also worked as Gucci Mane s and Nicki Minaj s former manager. In Detroit, Trick Trick, the founder of the Goon Sqwad and collaborators with Eminem was the focus. Los Angeles takes a look at Big U, the street-gang-leader-turned-music-executive whose proteges include the late Nipsey Hussle. Last but not least, the show highlights the man and the myth, Haitian Jack the public figure who can be closely tied to many mega-celebrities like Madonna and Tupac.
