Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX:RTR) (FRA:20Z) has appointed highly experienced mining executive Peter Venn as a non-executive director and bolstered its senior geological management team with the appointment of Ben Jones and Luke Timmermans.
Venn has more than 32 years of resources industry experience and has led highly successful teams in the exploration, acquisition, evaluation and development of more than 10 mining operations in Africa and Australia.
The company has applied for property directly north of the recent lead-zinc discovery by Rumble Resources. The Mount Lockeridge fault project covers an area of 930 square kilometres.
TNT Mines Ltd (ASX:TIN) has made an application to secure a major land position in the Earaheedy Basin, east of Wiluna in Western Australia, that includes a new lead-zinc project.
Following the announcement by Rumble Resources (ASX:RTR) on April 19 of a major zinc-lead discovery at its Earaheedy Project, TIN lodged an application for a licence covering 930 square kilometres directly to the north over the Mount Lockridge fault and sections of the Frere and Chiall formations which host the Chinook discovery.

Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX:RTR) has hit a new record after fast-tracked assay results from two reverse circulation (RC) holes at Chinook Prospect of the Earaheedy JV Project in Western Australia confirmed a zinc-lead discovery.
The company has completed 33 holes for 3,593 metres of RC drilling at the project, including 26 holes for 2,653 metres at Chinook with assays for 24 holes pending.
Drill hole EHRC050 returned 34 metres at 4.22% zinc + lead from 66 metres, including 17 metres at 6.65% zinc + lead from 73 metres with a higher grade core zone of 14 metres at 5.02% zinc and 2.03% lead (7.05% zinc + lead) from 76 metres.
The other fast-tracked hole, EHRC044, returned 21 metres at 4.31% zinc + lead from 61 metres, including 10 metres at 5.02% zinc + lead from 67 metres.

Rumble Resources Ltd s (ASX:RTR)(FRA:20Z) final drill assay results from reverse circulation drilling at Barker Well Prospect of Braeside project in Western Australia s Pilbara region have revealed multiple high-grade lead breccia zones from surface and over 800 metres of strike.
Of significance is that the drilling is shallow at an average 50 metres depth, with mineralisation open in all directions.
Results include 4 metres at 18.63% lead, 1.72% zinc and 11.7 g/t silver from 17 metres and 3 metres at 13.93% lead, 0.54% zinc and 10.1 g/t silver from 29 metres.

These results complement the strong results earlier this week at Camel Hump Prospect, also on the Braeside Project, where wide zones of copper oxide mineralisation with zinc and lead hosted in volcaniclastics were discovered showcasing all the hallmarks of a new VMS (volcanogenic massive sulphide) province.
