Jermaine Dewone Bolden, 36, who had the street name “Sockhead,” was sentenced Monday by District Judge Ramona Emanuel to four decades in prison for an armed robbery conviction and a 10-year concurrent term for aggravated battery.
Bolden was convicted of armed robbery and aggravated battery, both with a firearm, on Feb. 27, 2020, in Caddo District Court.
Jury deliberation took less than 30 minutes.
Bolden s victim was shot and robbed on April 8, 2018, after he was lured to a friend s home where Bolden was a guest.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Sam Crichton and Ed Blewer. Bolden was defended by Kurt Goins.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - According to the Caddo Parish District Attorneyâs Office, a Shreveport man accused of molesting a tender-age child between 2012 and 2015 was convicted in the Caddo District Court on Thursday, Dec. 10.
The verdict for Marquise Jamal Jones, 38, returned guilty-as-charged for the molestation of a juvenile under the age of 13.
The trial started on Monday, Dec. 7, where the jury learned that Jones was involved in a relationship with the child victimâs mother between 2012 and 2015, providing care for the child while her mother was at work. During this time, the child was between the ages of three and five.
