Of all of the events that are being planned for the annual Sebewaing Sugar Festival, there is still one on hold.
Mark Rummel, a former Sebewaing School District graduate, has been planning an all class reunion for the last two years. His plan is to gather graduates from 1904 to 1972 to join together.
In 1973, Sebewaing Schools and Unionville Schools merged to form the Unionville-Sebewaing Area School District.
Rummel started planning for the event back in 2019 in hopes for the event to be part of the annual 2020 sugar festival celebration when many flock back to their hometown.

The Unionville Sebewaing Area School District announced new COVID-19 positive cases among its staff and student body, with the district preparing to return from spring break.
On April 2, the district announced that two staff members and a volunteer worker had tested positive for COVID-19. The news came a day after it was announced that one high school student and one elementary student had tested positive.
The news comes after announcements that other students had tested positive earlier in the week.
