To be blunt, 2020 was a sh tshow in so many ways, but at least there was a bright spot as far as music as concerned: the overall quality of melodically-charged releases was quite high indeed. Here are
Power Pop Plus s top 20 albums from The Year the World Was Put on Pause, with a few extras tossed in at the end.

McDONOUGH
â The Henry County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the Bridges at Jodeco site to build the countyâs new $22 million aquatic center on Tuesday.
The 160-acre residential and commercial mixed-use development is located at Interstate 75 and Jodeco Road.
The owner is donating a minimum of 8 acres and a maximum of 14 acres to build the center.
The facility will be built using Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax V monies and include a competition and therapy pool and an outdoor water park.
The BOC also voted to name the facility The OâNeal Edwards Aquatic Center after Global Impact Christian Ministries Pastor Spencer T. OâNeal and Eugene Edwards, former Henry County NAACP president. The outdoor playground and swimming pool area will be named after Kensley Grace Kirby who died in 2011.

âJordan and Austin were killed, and after that I said, âI donât see a purpose in finishing school right now,ââ she said. ââI donât think itâs important.ââ
