Two internet service workers died from electrocution in Mymensingh s Bhaluka upazila early today.
The deceased are Md Alfaz, 28, of Jamirdia in Bhaluka and Amit, 25, of Barishal.
Quoting the locals, Officer-in-charge of Bhaluka Police Station Md Mahmudul Islam said Alfaz and Amit went to one Md Tanvir s house to set up an internet connection.
When they climbed onto the tin roof of the house, they got electrocuted as the tin roof had come into contact with a snapped electric wire, said the OC.
Hearing the news Alfaz s father Ali Hossain rushed there and tried to rescue the victims and was himself electrocuted, the OC said.

Three people, including a mother and her son, drowned after falling into a manhole of a poultry hatchery in Mymensingh s Bhaluka upazila yesterday.
The victims were identified as Rani Bagchi (25), her three-and-a-half-year-old son Rohit Bagchi and hatchery labourer Md Ridoy Mia (25), reports our Mymensingh correspondent.
Rani s husband Sajal Bagchi is an engineer of the hatchery and they lived in one of the quarters on the hatchery compound, said Md Mahmudul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bhaluka Police nStation.
Quoting locals, OC Mahmudul Islam said the child was playing on the compound and suddenly fell into a nearby manhole of the hatchery at Bahuli village around 6:00pm.
