The state park was originally built in the 1930 s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The benefit of opening access to a place like Mt Nebo is proof in the pudding, you build it- Rock Solid Trail company that is- and they will come. Those guys truly built a trail-system that is monumental, the trail looks and feels like it belongs in a state park.

Police said the car was stopped at an intersection of Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo roads at Mt Nebo when the man s bike struck it about 10.30am today. Emergency services were called to the scene where the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women s Hospital as a precaution.
