Palmdale Resident Arrested After Assaulting Santa Clarita Bus Driver A Palmdale resident was arrested on multiple charges after reportedly assaulting a Santa Clarita bus driver with a shoe in Valencia on Saturday.  At about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a call of a woman making verbal threats to a bus driver on the corner of Orchard Village Road and McBean Parkway, according to Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station.  “Upon arrival, deputies learned that the suspect had physically assaulted a bus driver with a shoe after becoming upset when told to properly wear her face mask,” said Arriaga.
