In recent years, Israeli tech has been carving a name for itself in the alternative protein field, coming up with varied ways to replace real meat, the production of which is a key contributor to global warming.
In the main, meat substitutes are being made either from plant-based materials or from the multiplication of real cells taken from animals without causing them harm.
As a vegetarian since 2012 and a 95% vegan for four or five years (sorry, but almond milk doesn’t cut it for me in a real British cup of tea), I have followed developments closely.

In the continued evolution of IBM’s portfolio following its purchase of Red Hat Inc. in 2018, the company recently announced new and updated storage solutions, including Spectrum Fusion, provider of container-native, software-defined storage. The hyperconverged infrastructure system will include Red Hat OpenShift to support containers and virtual machines.

The use of cloud applications has grown to a point where few, if any, businesses can operate without them. Apps enable people to connect, create, save money and time, and generally power key engines of the global economy.
A growing problem, however, is that cloud application optimization has moved beyond human scale. The size of cloud operations has expanded to a point where sitting in front of a console and managing millions of complex workflows has become impossible.
Accenture’s latest report on cloud trends for 2021 found that at least 93% of enterprises have embarked on a multicloud strategy, averaging 3.4 public and 3.9 private clouds being deployed or tested.
