A survey is being circulated in Mountain Lakes and other districts to chart the course of public school students for the rest of the school year, asking families to choose their preference for virtual learning, in-class study or a hybrid model of instruction.
Their mandatory responses are due Tuesday and will guide the district s decisions about the transition to Phase 2 of its Restart and Reentry Plan, Superintendent Michael Featherman said. We want to find out what their desires are, he said. Logistically, once we have that, we can determine what we can and can t do.
The deadline for responses is 4 p.m. Tuesday. A separate survey must be submitted for each child in the system. The high school includes students from neighboring Boonton Township.
