The Motibhai Group of Companies say no doubt a vaccinated workforce will be critical factor in a border reopening framework.
Group Manager Human Resources Sanjay Kumar says all their staff at the Motibhai Business Park in Nadi have already received their 1st jab.
Kumar says they are not letting their staff to have a laid back attitude when it comes to following safe COVID-19 protocols and since the outbreak of COVID they have been effectively creating awareness to win the support of all their employees to be part of the war against the pandemic.

THE Fiji Cancer Society (FCS) states it plans to conduct 40 community screenings across the country, four public awareness and screenings, 10 corporate screening and awareness and host three open days at different locations this year.
Speaking at the Bushells Fiji’s Biggest Morning Tea, hosted by the Motibhai Group yesterday, society president Makrava Wilson said it was their vision to achieve a cancer-free Fiji and fundraising events assisted greatly in helping to work towards the goal.

CLINICIAN and obstetrician-gynaecologist Dr Alipate Vakamocea emphasised the importance of early detection at the Bushells Fiji’s Biggest Morning Tea event hosted by the Motibhai Group at Walu Bay on Wednesday.
“Cancer is curable when presented in its earliest stages,” he said.
Dr Vakamocea said although Fiji had recorded more cases of cervical cancer than other cancers, when compared with developed countries, Fiji’s rates were less.
“This margin exists particularly because of taboos and stigmas that surround the detection of cancers in women.

The Bushells Fiji’s Biggest Morning Tea event was hosted by Motibhai and Company Ltd, marking 15 years of the Motibhai Group’s partnership with the Fiji Cancer Society and its 90th Anniversary since the group’s establishment in 1931 in Walu Bay yesterday.
FCS president Makrava Wilson said the funds raised would assist greatly in the society’s awareness and outreach program and also screenings for patients.
