Mitchell Linklater and Myles Moffat of Men’s Lacrosse were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large Team as announced by the organization. The At-Large team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom in the sports of lacrosse, swimming, volleyball, golf, wrestling and tennis. The duo led the Bears to its first-ever National Championship game appearance and the best season in program history. The Bears were ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation the highest national ranking in program history and earned the No. 1 seed in the South Region. Linklater, a management major, earned a 3.98 GPA and became the first Lenoir-Rhyne student-athlete to win the NCAA Elite 90 award. Moffat was named the South Atlantic Conference’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year for a second consecutive season and earned a 3.92 GPA in marketing and management.
