The winning writers of Penn State University Libraries Short Stories’ “A Night at the Circus” spring 2021 contest have been announced. Representing five Penn State campuses, the latest writing contest encouraged students, faculty and staff across the commonwealth to submit their best circus-themed creative writing in the form of short stories or poetry.

For this contest, You’re the ringmaster, and the editorial board wants to be transported into a world of amusement, of slights of hand, and shadow play. The possibilities are truly endless with this theme.
