CU Cancer Center researchers receive PRCRP grant to investigate metastasis
Two members of the University of Colorado Cancer Center have received prestigious Idea Awards from the U.S. Department of Defense s Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program (PRCRP).
Founded in 2009, the PRCRP funds cancer research to support service members, their families, and the American public. Since members of the military are exposed to hazardous environments due to the nature of their service and are at risk for the development of many types of cancers, the PRCRP s mission is to promote high-impact research for cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and survivorship.

Clinical trial uses CAR-T cells made steps away at the Gates Biomanufacturing Facility
A new clinical trial at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, using cells genetically engineered by medical faculty to fight stubborn cancers, is showing encouraging results.
