Her Name Was Ashli Babbitt - American Renaissance

Her Name Was Ashli Babbitt Gregory Hood, American Renaissance, January 8, 2020 A makeshift monument for Ashli Babbitt is seen on Capitol Hill in Washington on January 7, 2021. (Credit Image: © Gripas Yuri/Abaca via ZUMA Press) Anyone can see the footage. Ashli Babbitt was a young woman at Wednesday’s protests. She had no weapon, not even a stick. There were armed police in front of her and behind her. She posed no danger to anyone. Still, a police officer, apparently black, shot and killed her. I never thought I’d say this, but Shaun King is right. I am going to say something wildly unpopular in my circles.

On Condemning Violence

This was the eerie night scene in our nation’s capital. Note the date. It was not January 6, 2021, but May 31, 2020. The death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody, captured on heinous video sparked riots despite his own family’s impassioned pleas for peace. The night of May 31, rioters set fires all over the capital of the United States. A mob of them gathered outside the White House and threatened to storm it. The president was said to have been moved to a bunker. Many on the left laughed at him and supported the mob. Never mind that the safety of the president, as a symbol of America and self-governance, goes beyond individual or party and should never be a laughing matter.

Media Discovers That Riots Are Bad - Victory Girls Blog

Media Discovers That Riots Are Bad   The media are gigantic, roaring, lying hypocrites. Yes, I am sure everyone is stunned by that. However, it is rare that we get such amazing and crystal-clear examples of such roaring hypocrisy. Example A: German Lopez of Vox. Riots were good when they furthered a political agenda that he agreed with. Now, riots are bad. https://twitter.com/michaelmalice/status/1346963939318497283 Example B: Sally Kohn. She “understood” violent protests back in May. Now, not so much. https://twitter.com/cvaldary/status/1346919101139210242 Example C: Chris Hayes. This is every single Republican’s fault who has ever worked in party politics – you know, the way the Congressional baseball shooter was every single Democrat’s fault. No?
