Wooster Daily Record, The-Daily-Record.com capture 14 AP awards Staff report Staff at The Daily Record and The-Daily-Record.com captured four first-place awards and 10 other awards for news and sports writing, reporting and photography in the annual Ohio Associated Press Media Editors contest. Award placements were announced Tuesday. The Daily Record competes in Division III against newspapers with a daily circulation between 12,000 and 18,999. The awards were for work published in 2020. Sports writer Alex Tichenor led the staff with four awards, including two first-place honors he shared with Emily Carey for the 2020 High School Football Preview, which was named Best Special Sports Section, and with Josh McWilliams for Best Daily Sports Section.

Sarah Tew/CNET As soon as July, you could start receiving the first payment as part of the expanded child tax credit. As a parent, you d normally receive this tax credit each year after filing your income tax return. With President Joe Biden s American Rescue Plan, however, this year you ll get the money in a series of payments through the second half 2021 and into 2022  if you and your family qualify. Depending on your children s ages, you could receive as much as $3,000 or $3,600 per child, over the course of payments.
