‘Life & soul and a consummate professional’: Mike Holmes retires after 33 years
Industry veterans pays tribute to ‘Lord Luxury’
Harding Director of International & Corporate Communications Mike Holmes has retired after 33 years in the industry.
Holmes began his career at
Selfridges, where he worked alongside fellow industry veterans
Caroline South,
He joined
Harding Brothers in 2010 and helped to establish the brand in its current role within the travel retail sector.
Many former colleagues have paid tribute to the man who became known as “Lord Luxury” and a mentor to the Harding Buying and Merchandising team.
Nigel Keal said: “I so fondly remember those days in the Eastleigh office where Mike was always the life and soul and the consummate professional.”
