WINSLOW A monthslong issue regarding a zoning change in a residential area of the town has hit a hard restart.
Abutters on Lee and Marie streets were notified last week that land owner Steve Martin has requested to change three lots in Dunbar Acres from high density residential to mixed-use zoning.
Winslow School Board gets first look at proposed budgets for elementary, high schools
The town is coming toward the end of its contract teachers, and Superintendent Peter Thiboutot said it took creative problem solving to get the teachers a competitive salary and still be fiscally responsible.

WINSLOW The Winslow School Board got a look Monday night at proposed budgets for Winslow Elementary School and Winslow High School during a virtual meeting.
The town is in the second year of a two-year contract with the teachers, and Superintendent Peter Thiboutot said it “took creative problem solving” from the teachers and the School Board to get the teachers a competitive salary and “still be fiscally responsible to the community.”
