Baltimore City on Friday launched an online dashboard charting its COVID-19 vaccination progress.
The dashboard is part of an effort by officials to increase transparency and accountability as they work toward a more equitable rollout. To begin addressing this, we just want to start by being transparent about our disparities, Health Commissioner Dr. Letitia Dzirasa said at a City Hall news conference.
Older adults and caregivers of those who may be eligible for the vaccine are asked to fill out a vaccine interest form. Those without reliable internet access may call Maryland Access Point at 410-396-2273. We know that there has been significant interest from our older adults who filled out that form by phone or online, Dzirasa said.
