Formerly housing ShopRite, this more than 50,000-square-foot building is available for lease at 2424 Hylan Blvd., New Dorp.

Since the larger state-of-the-art store opened in October, the developers of both shopping centers, the Long Island-based Kimco Realty, are actively seeking potential tenants to occupy ShopRite’s former space at 2424 Hylan Blvd.
“ShopRite was a huge success right out of the gate,” said Joshua Weinkranz, president of the northern region of the Kimco Realty, of the new larger supermarket in The Boulevard.
“We are talking to a handful of people for different types of uses. We are trying to get it leased as soon as we can,” he said.
