BRISTOL â Those waiting on the details on Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion wonât have to wait any longer.
The Bristol Birthplace of Country Music Museum released the artist schedule for its 20th anniversary festival on Tuesday. Headliners Tanya Tucker, The SteelDrivers, Yola, Amythyst Kiah and Hayes Carll will perform on Friday, Sept. 10. Blackberry Smoke, The Steel Woods and Dr. Dog will play on Saturday, Sept. 11, and Town Mountain, Son Little, Rhonda Vincent and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will perform on Sunday, Sept. 12.
The lineup was announced earlier this year after the festival was canceled due to the pandemic in 2020. For 2021, the festivalâs music committee worked to return the names on the 2020 lineup for the 20th anniversary event.

The No. 13 East Carolina University Pirates (42-15 American Athletic Conference) won their regional opener against Norfolk State University Spartans (25-27) 8-5 in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Greenville Regional on June 4 at Clark LeClair Stadium in Greenville, North Carolina.
In the top of the first, the Spartans were able to score one run due to an error by the Pirates when senior third baseman Danny Hosely was able to bring junior center fielder Dionte Brown home. The Pirates finished off the top with three strikes against senior first baseman Mason Velasquez by starting pitcher freshman Carson Whisenhunt.
In the bottom of the inning, ECU was able to score two runs off errors made by Norfolk. Freshman first baseman Josh Moylan hit a double which brought sophomore second baseman Connor Norby and junior center fielder Bryson Worrell home, which ended the first inning 2-1 for the Pirates.

Graveside services for Mark Allen Byrd, 58, of Lovington, NM will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Dawson County Cemetery in Lamesa, Texas at 10:00 a.m. Texas time. Officiating will be Matt Bridges of First United Methodist Church of Lovington. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
Mark was born on September 5, 1962 in Lamesa, TX to Donald Murrill and Bonnie Ellen (Shively) Byrd and passed away in Lovington on December 7, 2020.
Mark and Michelle met in high school and started dating in 1981. They were married on June 1, 1984, and have shared life and love for thirty six years as a married couple. They moved to Lovington in 1993 and Mark was employed with Plains Pipeline Service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially anywhere with trees, and going exploring. He was also a history buff.
