Vivica A. Fox can count over 140 acting credits, as well as 30 producing credits, to her name, and recently, Fox has added directing into the mix. Partnering with producer Tressa Azarel Smallwood to produce the short film “Through Her Eyes” for BET Her, Fox says directing is definitely the next step of her career.
“I enjoyed sitting in the director’s chair this time I definitely feel like it’s the next chapter for my career,” Fox said at TheWrap’s mentorship BE Conference. “I know I make an excellent director and actors’ director because I know what it’s like to be in front of the camera. I know what it’s like to produce so I can bring a lot of experience to make my actors comfortable… directing has definitely come at the right time
